Health Tips For Kids
A healthy body is a paramount of a long life. Generally youngsters live in this fantasy that they don’t have to do much effort to maintain good health. But if you even think the same way, you are completely mistaken.

This reckless attitude may carry on to further, say till their marriage hood & is most likely to affect their child's health, if not dealt properly.
All age groups require special care according to their body needs. Let’s discuss in detail about nutritious foods for all age groups.

Infant Care:
For an infant, mother’s milk is highly beneficial & recommended which is known as colostrums that fulfills the deficiency in the infant. Colostrums contain antibodies to protect the new born against diseases, as well as being higher in fat and protein than ordinary milk. So every lactating mother should keep this in mind.

Quick Health Tips For Toddler
After the age of one, Toddler should slowly be shifted to solid foods like cerelec, home made khichadi, porridge (daliya) etc. Always remember this transition should be gradual.

Preschool Phase:
The Preschool age group is the most important time to inculcate healthy eating habits in a child. In this phase the growth is slow and so is the appetite. As the child grows the nutrition requirement by the body also increases. So do take care of their health. During this age group the kid is notorious and fussy about eating, so always prefer to make him sit with family to take major meals.

Tips for Growing Kids:
Proteins are essential for growing kids so it should be included in their diet. The rich sources of protein are nuts, fish, soya bean, milk, eggs, cheese, tofu, chicken but all these should be consumed in a moderate amount. Vitamin C helps to increase immunity and that is why they should be included in their diet.
Instead of common salt, rock salt can be used in the kid’s food, the trace elements in rock salt help in growing brain cells. Indulging in soft drinks, tea and coffee should be avoided because they reduce the iron from the health system of a kid.


Children need a healthy balanced diet rich in fruits vegetables and cereals.  Try to encourage your children to eat variety of foods which are rich in nutrients.
Always remember that eating habits inculcated in this age group are for life time, so be particular about the diet plan of your growing kids.
