Muscle building is not that easy as your work out routine plays a vital source in building a proper shape of your muscles. You need to devote your time and effort both and of you are not willing to do your exercise and put the exact amount of effort and time then I would say you are just wasting your time.

Here are some exercises and some tips are mentioned which may help you in building the right muscles shape and size.

Get more Strength and be Stronger. More strength fetches more muscle. Indulge yourself in some strength training exercise. Start running and build your stamina to work out for long time. Also start weight training because it lets you start from light and adding weight endlessly.

Dead Lift

Squats help to tone your whole body and allow you to lift heavy weights. It is a compound exercise which works the hamstrings, quadriceps, lower back, gluteus, abdominals, hips, and abductors. Your whole body especially muscles tense when you perform Squats & Dead lifts. There is additional positive point is when you can Squat & Deadlift heavy weights, your arms start getting bigger. People perform most of the exercise on machine but I feel free weight exercises are better for building muscle than machine exercises as they are more effective and provide you the desired outputs. Machines make the exercises effortless and an easy deal for you. While performing machine exercises, you don’t need to balance the weights as machine does it on your behalf in result you don’t get that proper stimulation in your muscles. However, free weights are more effective and capable to stabilize muscles and put you in a natural, environment for exercise.

Compound exercises like Bench press, dips, and squats are the most effectual when they are done in routine. You can also perform some Isolation exercises like Dumbbell flyes, pec deck, and leg extensions which work fewer muscles across a single joint. Squats allow for heavy weights to be lifted. This makes the squat an incredibly effective muscle building exercise. 

After performing these compound exercises you can clearly see how much more productive they can be for building muscle.
